My friends Belinda and Karsten are the proud new parents of Kayden Cristopher Ivey, a healthy 7lbs 3oz boy. After a long day of labor they welcomed me into the room to take pictures of Belinda’s first moments holding her little bug. It was a beautiful sight.
Bek got her first cold after her first week in day care. It’s a bad one. Respiratory Syncytial Virus. It can last 2 weeks in babies. According to her doctor it’s hitting hard this season. So we’ve been home sick all week, she gave it to me too. So far Scott doesn’t have it. One complication of the RSV is that it gave her a bronchial infection so she has to go on a cocktail of meds. One of which is a nebulizer treatment every 4 hours. She tolerates the mask pretty well most of the time. She seems to be fighting it well but slow.
