Only because Lima beans are much easier to pincer. In Beka's defense, try grabbing those peas yourself, you'll see how hard it is. Actually I have used that as an effective method of torture for my children--making them pick up and eat their peas one at a time. This store had a great sale so I was able to get it for the price of a regular high chair. We like it cause she can sit at the table like we do, although, that means there isn't a lot of spill protection as you can see in that last photo. Sometimes that makes me long for a high chair with a tray that comes out on the sides. It is a Stokke high chair!
